I often get the nibbles....sometimes around
5ish, or late in the evening. This is a lovely filling, savoury snack.
I always try to make my food look attractive, even if it's just for me-it's my way of showing myself that I need to take care of me and I'm sure it tastes better too!
I love these Spelt-Dinkel Bröd at the moment, (partly for their name!) but mostly their texture, flavour and size. They're from Marks and Spencer.
IKEA do a similar range.
These work out to 2pp/approx.80kcal per slice.
Each one is the size of a small side plate, so two spread with 30g extra light Philadelphia makes a substantial snack for 5pp/approx.200kcal. Obviously, you can choose your favourite cracker, so adjust your propoints/kcal accordingly.
Topped with some fresh rocket leaves, quartered cherry tomatoes and a squeeze of fresh lemon juice, you will be transported to savoury snacking heaven!
